Sunningdale Heath Golf Club

Sunningdale Heath Golf Club, originally founded in 1902 as Sunningdale Ladies Golf Club, holds a unique place in golf history. Designed by Harry Colt, it’s a charming and challenging 18-hole course, albeit a short one, playing to a par of 58 and measuring around 3,705 yards. Its layout features fourteen par threes and just four par fours, making it a true test of iron play and accuracy.

Nestled on picturesque heathland adjacent to its more famous namesake, Sunningdale Heath is known for its immaculate conditioning, small greens, and strategic bunkering, all hallmarks of Colt’s genius. It offers a quicker round of golf, typically under three hours, making it appealing for all ages and skill levels. Once an exclusive ladies-only club with royal patronage (including the Queen Mother), it has since transitioned to a more inclusive, family-friendly venue while retaining its classic charm and providing a truly engaging golfing experience.
