Meet the Spa & Wellness Team

Renowned spa and wellness expert Lisa Barden, Group Director of  Spa & Wellness for Arora Group’s growing portfolio of hotel spas, is the wonderful brain behind the spa and wellness concept at Fairmont Windsor Park. In Lisa’s words “the spa and wellness offer at the new Fairmont Windsor Park will be game changing. Our objective is to create a space which allows for the delivery of unparalleled levels of service through the creation of transformational experiences for our guests and visitors, whilst ensuring our teams are as happy and healthy as we can.” 


Lisa is currently Chair of the UK Spa Association (UKSA), a board member of SATCC (Standards Authority for Touch in Cancer Care), a World Spa and Wellness Awards judge, and has over 20 years’ experience working in various developmental positions with some of the industry’s biggest spa brands and resorts, including Wentworth Club and Spa, Grayshott Spa in Surrey, Champneys and ESPA. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher Practitioner and a Holistic Beauty Therapist.


Lisa is joined by four passionate and talented leaders who will help bring her vision to life and lead the more than 60 therapists, beauticians, hairdressers and other experts that will make up the team once the Fairmont Spa & Wellness is fully up and running.


Carlos Urrutigoity – Spa & Wellness Director, Fairmont Windsor Park. Carlos qualified as an Osteopath in 2009, whilst working as a Personal Trainer at the Lensbury Club. He has since held roles at Wentworth Golf Club overseeing the tennis and health club, heading up the sports and wellness offering for a Private Members Club in Mayfair, and setting up the wellness and leisure space at the West End Landmark – Centre Point. Luxury property Cliveden House was his next role as the Club & Spa Manager, followed by Nobu Hotel London Portman Square where he took on the role of pre-opening Head of Wellness & Fitness.

2021 sees Carlos take on his biggest opportunity to date, he comments: “This is my most exciting position yet, an opportunity to strip back wellness to its fundamentals and provide a cutting edge offering like no other property in the UK. We want to do something different here, with service leading the way and a modern approach on holistic wellbeing.”


Shelley-Ann Maxwell Membership & Guest Experience Manager, Fairmont Windsor Park. Shelley is an advocate in promoting wellness and has spent over six years working with luxury brands, working at Stoke Park as memberships manager and at Harvey Nichols as a private shopper. Shelley is also a yoga teacher in her personal time with over 2,000 teaching hours and a qualified personal trainer. With a passion for exceptional customer service and a wealth of knowledge and experience within wellness, Shelley is excited to enhance the membership offering at Windsor Fairmont Park.




Ramón Wright – Wellness Manager, Fairmont Windsor Park. With a background in athletics, which focussed on sprinting – combined with a love of football – Ramón entered the fitness and wellness industry over 10 years ago. Ramón’s experience includes the award winning ESPA Life & BodySPace at Corinthia Hotel, London, followed by pre and post opening at the Spa at Audley Coopers Hill, Surrey – a luxury retirement facility. Ramón is delighted to be in the position to present a reimagined version of wellness and believes that this is the prime time to deliver an innovative and bespoke focus on the guests and their wellness journey at Fairmont Windsor Park.




David Olds – Head Barber, Truefitt & Hill at Fairmont Windsor Park. David has been in the hairstyling profession now for 20 years, managing to travel the world including longer periods in London and Australia where he managed salons and became Western Australia’s brand ambassador for leading hair brand Kérastase. David then returned to London becoming brand ambassador for men’s leading brand Truefitt & Hill where he now manages their second UK franchise at Fairmont Windsor Park. David’s passion remains in the hairstyling field, and he feels very grateful to still be doing a job he’s so passionate about.
